FROM SANTIAGO BY BUS:
Take the Pullman del Sur bus from Terminal Alameda (5min walk from Metro stop U. de Santiago) to Pichilemu. They have 2 different routes, make sure you take the one via Melipilla and Litueche (the other route will take up to 5hrs).

The busses leave daily at: 07:00 / 09:00 / 12:00 / 14:00 / 16:00 / 18:00 / 20:00.

Get off at the bus terminal in Pichilemu, stock up on food & drinks and take a taxi/collectivo (~ $5.000) to Surfarm. We are about 15min south of Pichilemu. Tell the driver you want to go to the Ex-fundo Cahuil, sector Pangal, crossing the bridge over the laguna de Cahuil, follow the road for 1km and you will spot our signs. Have your camaras ready, the drive is worth a photo or two.
Once you are here and have your bearings it's really easy to hitchhike between the hostel - Punta de Lobos - Pichilemu. Its very common, even hitching with a surfboard, so we follow the example of the locals :-).

In the beginning of the 90├´┐Żs the Chilean government built a bridge to connect Pichilemu with another town in the South called Bucalemu, and built some cabins on the beach to house the project workers . Once the construction was over, the cabins and ├┬írea were abandoned for many years until we decided to revamp it and re-use it as what is now known as Surfarm!
